Search and rescue operation continues after car plunges into sea from Penang Bridge

GEORGE TOWN: The search and rescue (SAR) operation continues for the car that plunged into the sea following a collision with another on the Penang Bridge.

Rescuers are conducting the search operation around the KM4.0 area of the bridge with a radius of 50 feet on Sunday (Jan 20).

The Prai Fire and Rescue Department was alerted about the mishap early Sunday at 2.35am.

The accident occurred at KM4.0 of the bridge, on the mainland-bound direction.
