SHAH ALAM: Selangor police will not be stepping up security in the state during Thaipusam, following recent incidences surrounding the Seafield Sri Maha Mariamman temple issue.
State police chief Comm Datuk Mazlan Mansor said that the situation is under control in the area around the temple, as well as the state as a whole.
