PUTRAJAYA: The Election Commission (EC) can function like normal, despite having only one commissioner.
EC chairman Azhar Azizan Harun, or better known as Art Harun, had previously announced the resignation of the commission members, including deputy chairman Tan Sri Othman Mahmood effective Jan 1. The other names were Datuk Md Yusof Mansur, Datuk Abdul Aziz Khalidin, Datuk Sulaiman Narawi, Datuk Leo Chong Cheong and Datuk Bala Singam Karupiah.
