SHAH ALAM: Police are looking for three more suspects in connection with the murder of a factory operator here.

Selangor CID chief Senior Asst Comm Fadzil Ahmat said one of the suspects previously arrested on Jan 8 will be charged with murder at the Shah Alam Court on Friday morning.

"Follow up investigations have also led us to the identification of three others to help with our probe.

"The three are Logesvaran Ramesh, 26; Tamil Kumaran Paneer Selvam, 33; and a man known only as Sree who we identified via CCTV footage," he said in a statement on Thursday (Jan 17).

It was reported that the 30-year-old Thiyahu Marimuthoo, a PKR youth member who had contested a committee member post during last year's party election, was stabbed at a flat along Jalan Plumbum on Monday (Jan 14).

The victim suffered heavy injuries to the face, head, hand and leg, and was rushed to the Shah Alam hospital by members of the public.

He died while receiving medical treatment at the hospital.

It was believed that he was stabbed by three suspects who drove a silver car. The motive is currently being investigated as well.

"Anyone with information on the men should contact Asst Supt K. Vignesh Kumar at 03-5520 2222 immediately,” Fadzil said.
