PEKAN: Economic Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali (pic) disagrees that bilateral relations between Malaysian and Singapore are on a "downward spiral" as suggested by Singapore's Foreign Minister Dr Vivian Balakrishnan.

"There are issues that both countries are facing now but with the wisdom and the leadership of both countries, I believe engagement will provide a better result," Mohamed Azmin said when met after the proclamation of Sultan Abdullah Ibni Sultan Ahmad Shah as Sultan of Pahang at Istana Abu Bakar here Tuesday (Jan 15).
