Emulate Chinese community and set up funds for new schools, Shafie urges Sabah leaders

SEMPORNA: Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal has urged local leaders, especially from Semporna, to emulate the Chinese community in setting up funds to build schools for their children and not rely solely on the government for finances.

The Parti Warisan Sabah president said he was happy and proud of the Chinese community who rarely ask for financial assistance from the government, but instead generate funds on their own to build schools.
