Tengku Abdullah in second place for longest term as crown prince – after Prince Charles

KUANTAN (Bernama): The Regent of Pahang Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah, who will be proclaimed the sixth Sultan of Pahang on Jan 15, holds the record for second-longest term as Crown Prince – after the Prince of Wales, Prince Charles.

Tengku Abdullah, who was born on July 30, 1959, at Istana Mangga Tunggal, Pekan, has been the Crown Prince of Pahang for nearly 44 years.
