KUALA LUMPUR: A human trafficking syndicate that smuggles migrants from south Asia to Australia and New Zealand has been busted with the arrest of 37 foreigners, says Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun.
The Inspector-General of Police said Bukit Aman conducted various raids in Klang on Jan 4 and arrested 34 migrants – 24 from Sri Lanka (12 men, eight women and four children) and 10 Indian nationals (four men, three women and three children).
