EC chief: Cameron Highlands polls not affected by absence of EC deputy chairman and commissioners

PETALING JAYA: Election Commission (EC) chairman Azhar Azizan Harun has assured that the upcoming Cameron Highlands polls on Jan 26 will not be affected by the absence of his deputy and five commissioners.

According to Azhar, this was because the operations of the EC are managed by its 800 staff across the country.
