KUCHING: Sarawak's Tourism Minister Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah is surprised by Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng's response to his request for the tourism tax revenue to be paid to the state.

Abdul Karim said he was merely asking for the RM2.7mil in tourism tax due to Sarawak, and had no intention of defaming anyone or politicising the issue.
