Sabah Umno to operate autonomously, says Bung Moktar

Bung Moktar was among two MP asked to leave the August hall after they refused to heed Mohd Rashid's call not to interrupt proceedings.

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Umno has been given the green light to operate autonomously in a move to strengthen the party hit by massive defections of its leaders in the state last month.

Sabah Umno chief Datuk Bung Moktar Radin (pic) said that the supreme council agreed to all the recommendations by the state Umno that wants to chart its own political course without interference from the party headquarters.
