Nepalese man fined RM4,000 for pulling co-worker's bra strap

PETALING JAYA (Bernama): A Nepalese man's action of pulling his co-worker's bra strap after she ignored his calls landed him in hot water as he was slapped with a RM4,000 fine in default five months' jail by the magistrate's court here Thursday (Jan 3).

Magistrate Mohamad Ikhwan Mohd Nasir meted out the sentence against Pratap Thokar, 25, after he pleaded guilty to an alternative charge of using a gesture intended to insult the modesty of a 23-year-old local woman, by pulling her bra from behind.
