Guan Eng: Govt has not been taxing petrol, nor profited from retail fuel prices

PETALING JAYA: The Ministry of Finance (MOF) has denied allegations that the government has been imposing sales tax on fuel.

Lim Guan Eng said that total petrol and diesel subsidies for the first 11 months of last year amounted to RM4.89bil, and that the Pakatan Harapan government did not profit from retail fuel prices.
