Police set to complete investigation paper on Special Branch cop’s death

GEORGE TOWN (Bernama): The investigation paper on the death of a Special Branch policeman, who was believed to have fallen from a hotel building in Pulau Tikus on Dec 17, is almost ready, says Penang police chief Datuk Seri A. Thaiveegan.

He said police were only waiting for the report from the Chemistry and Forensic Department to complete the investigation paper on the incident, which led to the death of Corporal Sofian Shahari, 47.
