Consider feelings of Chinese community too over UEC recognition, urges MCA

PETALING JAYA: The feelings of the Chinese community on the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) issue must be considered as well, says MCA.

Party vice-president Datuk Tan Teik Cheng said he was disappointed by Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad's remarks that the UEC recognition must take into account the feelings of the Malays.
