Cop saves fruit stall worker from being attacked

GEORGE TOWN: Quick action by a policeman saved the life of a 46-year-old fruit stall worker after he was attacked by a man who went berserk.

The policeman shot the man in the leg after he attacked the worker with a machete, slashing him on the neck at the Lorong Kulit flea market at about 7am yesterday.
