Wan Azizah defends Rafizi's appointment as PKR vice-president

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail has defended the appointment of Rafizi Ramli as PKR vice-president, saying it was the prerogative of the party president to chose whomever he thinks suitable.

The Deputy Prime Minister said Rafizi also received quite a lot of votes during the recent party election, where the former Pandan MP garnered some 62,700 votes in the contest for the deputy president.
