Indonesian maid jailed, fined for stealing food, clothes from hypermart

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): An Indonesian maid was sentenced to seven months' jail and fined RM1,000 by the Ampang Magistrate's Court here for stealing various food items and clothes on Dec 13.

She faces a one-month jail sentence in default of the fine.
