Fire razes seven houses in Bintulu


MIRI: A Fire that broke out in a low-cost housing scheme in Bintulu razed seven houses on Monday morning (Dec 24).

The incident at 3am saw the houses on Jalan Sibiew in Bintulu going up in smoke, six of which were totally razed.

Sarawak Bomba, in its latest updates, said the occupants managed to escape the fire and there were no injuries.

Bomba personnel managed to stop the flames from spreading after they rushed to the site following a distress call at 3am.

The cause of the fire is being probed.
