‘Speed up probe on detained tourists’


KOTA KINABALU: Sabah’s Deputy Chief Minister wants the Immi­gra­tion Department to speed up its investigation into four Chinese tourists detained for not having Malaysian entry stamps on their passports.

Datuk Christina Liew, who is also Sabah Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister, said the four, who include a pregnant woman, had been held at the temporary detention centre in Menggatal near here since their arrest on Monday.
