IPOH: The general morale among firefighters in Perak is low, owing to the passing of Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim on Monday (Dec 17).

Perak Fire and Rescue Department deputy director Sayani Saidon said those in the state were also affected emotionally, as they are still coming to terms with the passing of one of their own.
She said 2018 has been a bad year for firefighters, noting that six more lost their lives when they drowned during a rescue operation to look for a teenager at a former mining pool in Puchong, Selangor, in October.
