Felda settlers to get RM77mil in special allocation

Economic Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali said the Cabinet had agreed the tabling of the White Paper, which was scheduled to be tabled to Parliament on Monday, had to be postponed to the first meeting of the second session of the 14th Parliament (2019).

PETALING JAYA: The Finance Ministry will be providing a special allocation of RM77mil to Federal Land Development Authority (Felda) settlers to address the state plantation agency's critical cash flow shortage. 

"The issue has been a concern of Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who instructed for the allocation to be given," said Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng.
