KOTA KINABALU: The population of Sabah’s indigenous proboscis monkeys have remained stable although their groups have reduced in sizes, a recent research showed.
One reason for the relatively stable population could be that there were only minor losses of forest along the rivers where proboscis monkeys are generally found, said Hutan Scientific director Dr Marc Ancrenaz.
