PETALING JAYA: Pakatan Harapan component parties should have a common stand and reject attempts by defected Umno leaders to join its coalition, says Datuk Dr Mah Hang Soon.

Lambasting Pakatan for its frequent violation of promises and U-turns in implementing policies, the MCA deputy president said that it was necessary for Pakatan to express its stance in a united manner.

“We are tired of such political dramas.

“We do not know what kind of political agenda each of the four Pakatan parties has, but they must look at the big picture and resolutely reject political frogs through political ethics and firm actions.

“(It is time) to end the chaotic political situation in Malaysia and fully promote the country’s economic development and resolve livelihood issues faced by the people,” he said in a statement on Monday (Dec 17).

In view of the recent defections of Umno leaders, Dr Mah said top leaders in Pakatan have yet to reach a common ground on whether to accept these politicians.
