KUCHING (Bernama): The Sessions Court here has dropped a case against Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Deputy Minister Chong Chieng Jen and former Stampin MP Julian Tan for allegedly taking part in a Bersih 4 illegal assembly on Aug 20, 2015.

Judge Steve Ritikos made the withdrawal Monday after the Federal Attorney-General’s Chamber gave grounds that Chong, who was then the Bandar Kuching MP, and Tan had acted accordingly with police instructions.
