Cops looking for man over seditious video on FB

KUALA LUMPUR: Police are looking for a man over a seditious video which was uploaded on Facebook.

In the video, the man can be allegedly heard saying that the Federal Constitution was created by racists.

He also allegedly questioned why the Chinese and Indians cannot be included in being given special privileges.

Federal CID director Comm Datuk Seri Wan Ahmad Najmuddin Mohd said the man was recorded in a four-minute and 50-second video on the social media site.

"We are tracing him over an investigation under Section 4(1) of the Sedition Act 1948.

"Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact us immediately," he said in a statement on Friday (Dec 14).

He added that those with information could contact Insp Mohd Nasir Abu Hasan at 03-22666071 or 013-7736813.
