KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): The Malaysia Competition Commission (MyCC) reassured consumers that it is working closely with the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry to identify anti-competitive practices in the domestic market for eggs.

It said that aside from anti-profiteering issues which may have contributed to the recent price increase, MyCC is looking into the possibility of anti-competitive behaviour among market players, such as the existence of price-fixing cartels, market sharing and the deliberate limiting of production.
