ALTHOUGH only 19 actress Eyra Hazali is looking forward to the prospect of settling down, reported Utusan Malaysia.

The Mr Grey drama series actress got engaged to Johor Darul Takzim goalkeeper Haziq Nadzli, 20, on Dec 1 after dating for a year.

Eyra said they planned to tie the knot late next year, adding that there was no reason to delay marriage as she had found a “responsible, kind and prudent partner”.

“Haziq says that he does not want to wait and that he always needs me by his side.

“God willing, we will slowly prepare for the wedding. There are many companies that wish to sponsor us but it’s premature to make an announcement now,” she said.

Eyra, who plans to have a Narnia-themed reception with black and gold elements, said she and Haziq plan on opening a cafe and launch a clothing brand.

Their engagement came under fire when photos of the ceremony leaked online.

“Haziq and I planned to make a media announcement as soon as photos (pic) from our official photographer were ready.

“But since everything is out online we can only apologise if there are fans who thought we wanted to hide our engagement,” she said.
