PETALING JAYA: Customs officers handling contraband now will be monitored closely by an internal task force to clean up the stained image of the Royal Customs Department of Malaysia.
Sundry shops caught selling even one carton of contraband cigarettes will also stand to pay a minimum fine of RM100, 000.
