Commotion as uni students stopped from holding press conference in Parliament lobby

KUALA LUMPUR: A group of university students caused a commotion in Parliament Tuesday (Dec 11) when they were stopped by security guards from handing over a memorandum on the Universities and University Colleges Act 1971 (UUCA) to Education Minister Dr Maszlee Malik.

The incident occurred after 10 university students from a group called Gabungan Pembebasan Akademik were stopped from holding a press conference in the Parliament lobby.
