IPOH: DAP Socialist Youth committee member Dyana Sofya Mohd Daud and Penang state exco member Zairil Khir Johari will hold a wedding reception at the Royal Perak Golf Club here on Sunday (Dec 9).
The event will be attended by several political figures including DAP veteran Lim Kit Siang.
Lim is expected to perform the “upacara merenjis” to sprinkle rose water to bless the couple.
Dyana Sofya, who was also a former political secretary to Lim, confirmed the date following the circulation on social media of an invitation card bearing her name and the Tanjung Bungah assemblyman.
The couple got engaged here in March.
The "akad nikah" (solemnisation) ceremony was held on Saturday (Dec 8).
