KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): A technician was sentenced to 17 years' jail and 10 strokes of the cane by the Ampang Sessions Court here Wednesday (Nov 28) after he was found guilty of raping his step-daughter two years ago.
Judge Suzana Hussin handed down the sentence on the 28-year-old man after finding that the defence had failed to raise reasonable doubts against the prosecution's case.
