Election Commission to appeal decision on Rantau seat as it affects workers

SEREMBAN: The Election Commission (EC) will appeal the decision of the Election Court which had on Nov 16 nullified the result of the Rantau state seat.

EC chief Azhar Azizan Harun (pic) said, "The appeal is not on the court's decision to invalidate the result of the 14th general election for Rantau but purely how the judgment could affect the EC and election workers," he said in a statement.
