KUALA LUMPUR: Politicians commenting on the temple riots should think about the long term effects of their statements, says Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution (pic).

"The authority in charge for the safety of the country is the Royal Malaysian Police. The Inspector General of Police has come out with the reasons of why the temple incident took place. We must respect that and allow the police to do their work.
