Johor Sultan appoints grandson as Raja Muda


Royal family: Tunku Ismail holding his daughter Tunku Khalsom Aminah Sofiah Tunku Ismail while his wife Che Puan Khaleeda holds their son Tunku Iskandar. Tunku Iskandar has been appointed as the Raja Muda Johor by Sultan Ibrahim.

JOHOR BARU: Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar has appointed his grandson, Tunku Iskandar Abdul Jalil Abu Bakar Ibrahim Ibni Tunku Ismail, as Raja Muda Johor.

Tunku Iskandar is Tunku Mahkota Johor Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim’s first son with his wife, Che Puan Khaleeda Bustamam. The Johor Ruler made the announcement in conjunction with His Majesty’s 60th birthday celebrations at Istana Besar here yesterday.
