Dr M: MACC to probe allegations that 'minister's son' is 'controlling' ministry


PUTRAJAYA : The Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) will look into allegations of power abuse at a ministry.

Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who was asked if he was aware of the claim, said: "MACC will investigate."

He was responding to a question on allegations that a certain "minister's son" is "controlling" the said ministry.

It is alleged that the son determines the ministry 's activities and processes, including deciding which company get tender awards.
