PETALING JAYA: The Election Commission (EC) will make sure its personnel understand and comply with all election rules and regulations, in light of the decision by the Special Election Court to nullify the general election results for the Rantau state seat.

The Commission's chairman Azhar Azizan Harun said the EC took a serious view of the findings in the court decision, especially the violation of election laws and regulations during nomination day for the Negri Sembilan state assembly constituency.
