GEORGE TOWN: History was created when Penang became the first state in the country to limit the tenure of the Chief Minister to two terms.
The motion secured more than two-thirds majority at the state legislative assembly, with 33 assemblymen voting yes. The three opposition members abstained from voting and four assemblymen were absent.
