Love and patience help heal disabled puppy

PETALING JAYA: When Derene Lee was asked if she was willing to foster a disabled puppy with a bad temper years ago, she was sceptical about the proposition.

But since the four-month-old male puppy had nowhere to go as it was too ferocious even for the veterinarian to treat, Lee agreed to provide him a home.
