KUALA LUMPUR: The Federal Court has fixed next week to deliver its decision on an appeal by the National Registration Department (NRD) to determine whether a Muslim child conceived out of wedlock can use the father's name instead of "bin Abdullah".

When contacted Friday (Nov 16), counsel Nizam Bashir, who acted for a Muslim couple involved in the case, said they had been notified by the Federal Court registrar that the decision will be on Nov 22.
