PUTRAJAYA (Bernama): The allocation for Majlis Amanah Rakyat (Mara) in Budget 2019 is almost the same as last year, and not slashed by 50% as claimed, said Datuk Seri Rina Harun (pic, right).

Rembau MP Khairy Jamaluddin (pic, left) had on Monday demanded that the government give an explanation on the 50% reduction for Mara allocation, which he claimed had decreased from RM3.5bil in 2018 to only RM1.3bil for 2019.
