KUALA LUMPUR: A lawmaker has called for investigations to be reopened in an alleged corruption case involving a former high-ranking official in Melaka which was dropped by the then Attorney General Tan Sri Mohamed Apandi.
The call came from Kota Melaka MP Khoo Poay Tong who revealed that a corruption case against the official was dropped just before the previous state government approved Apandi's application for 36.5 hectares of land.
