GEORGE TOWN: The python which was found in a Pos Laju parcel and sent to Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Penang, is not Burmese python but a red blood python.
Naturalist R.Tayalan said it can be identified based on the red colour of the reptile’s scales.
