Former minister Zainuddin Maidin in ICU, being treated for pulmonary edema

PUTRAJAYA (Bernama): Former Information Minister Tan Sri Zainuddin Maidin (pic) is undergoing treatment at the Putrajaya Hospital here after suffering from pulmonary edema (water in the lungs).

His younger brother, Abdul Lazam Maidin, said Zainuddin, who is now being treated at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital, is conscious but was advised by the doctor to have a lot of rest.
