Car knocks down motorcyclist in deadly accident on NKVE

PETALING JAYA: An accident turned deadly after an unidentified car knocked down a fallen motorcyclist in a hit and run.

Selangor Traffic Investigations and Enforcement Department chief Supt Azman Shari’at said that the incident occurred at 3.35pm on Thursday along KM16.8 of the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE).

The victim, a 23-year old man from Rawang, had fallen off his bike after losing control. However an unidentified car hit the victim's head as it drove past.

"The victim died at the scene of the incident. Witnesses to the incident are urged to contact the police," he said when contacted.
