SEMENYIH (Bernama): The deferment of National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) loan repayments will be difficult to implement due to the country's current fiscal position, says Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng.

He acknowledged criticism against the Pakatan Harapan (PH) government – which made the promise in its GE14 manifesto – after the announcement on the matter was made during the tabling of Budget 2019 last Friday, but said that they had no other choice.
