KOTA KINABALU: Early polling results from 12 Sabah PKR divisions indicate that Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali and Mohd Rafizi Ramli have each taken six wins for the deputy president post on the first of two polling days.
Azmin won the votes from the Sandakan, Libaran, Kalabakan, Sepanggar, Tawau and Beaufort divisions while Rafizi won the votes from the Batu Sapi, Kota Kinabalu, Tuaran, Sipitang, Kota Marudu divisions.
He also most likely won the votes of the Keningau division, though the results have not been released as of 10.30pm.
According to initial counts, Azmin polled 157 votes in Sandakan, 163 in Libaran and 490 in Kalabakan while Rafizi polled 18 in Sandakan, 31 in Libaran and 175 in Kalabakan.
Azmin received 611 votes in Sepanggar, 1,393 votes in Tawau and 616 in Beaufort while Rafizi scored 422 votes in Sepanggar, 848 in Tawau and 594 in Beaufort.

The result for Keningau is not out yet probably due to problems and a scuffle encountered just before the polling deadline at 4.15pm.
Sabah, the state with the second largest number of PKR members, however saw a low voter turnout of just below 40% its total members on the first of two days of voting.
All final results will be put up in the PKR website.
The Sabah PKR election is divided into two days - Saturday (Nov 3) for 12 divisions and Sunday (Nov 4) for 13 divisions.
