Melaka Exco member to give his 'Datukship' to army veteran, if he is given title

MELAKA: State Exco member Low Chee Leong is willing to give away his Datukship to army veteran V.Sathasivam as a Deepavali gift, if his offered such a title by the state during the second round of the investiture ceremony on Nov 10.

The State Health and Anti-Drug committee chairman said the 84-year-old former trooper, who served at Terendak army camp at Sungai Udang here in the late 1950s, is more eligible for the honorary title compared to him.
