Repatriation of stranded Syrian will take two months, says Immigration DG

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): The repatriation process for Syrian citizen Hassan Al Kontar, who was detained by police on Oct 1 after having stayed at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA2) since March, is expected to be completed in two months.

Without revealing which country Hassan would be going to, Immigration Department director-general Datuk Seri Mustafar Ali said talks were going on between the embassies of both countries.
