Muhyiddin: Syed Saddiq’s statement misinterpreted

MUAR: The statement by Youth and Sports Minister Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman that the Pakatan Harapan government would end the era of “Ketuanan Melayu” or Malay supremacy has been misinterpreted, says Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin (pic).

The Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia president said Syed Saddiq’s statement was also interpreted as if Bersatu was no longer fighting for the Malays when, in reality, the party existed on the basis of championing the rights of the Malays, in line with the Federal Constitution.
